Privacy policy

Filemint Studio processes selected documents, photographs and pasted study material in the visitor’s browser. You can download the result and close the tab to release the working copy. Your browser keeps any file you save to your downloads folder.

Student accounts and history

Creating an account stores your username, optional university, hashed sign-in credentials and recovery key digest. An essential session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. If history is enabled, your account retains the last 100 tool names, result filenames and dates. You can pause history, clear the list or delete your account in Student Desk. Document contents and result files stay on your device.

Network requests and models

Your browser requests pages and software assets from the hosting provider. The host may process technical information such as IP addresses, request paths and error logs. Office, OCR and translation engines can cache software or language models on your device. The English–German translation fallback downloads verified weights from the model distributor. Document text stays on your device. Clear site data in your browser to remove local caches.

Web imports and sharing

When you choose to import a URL, the requested address is sent to the importer or requested directly from your browser. Use public URLs only. A signature request includes the chosen document and your message. You decide who receives the request when you share the downloaded file.

Ads and contact

This release serves no advertising scripts or analytics cookies. Verification metadata can identify the publisher to Google. If advertising is enabled, this notice and consent controls must be updated before ads are served. When you contact us, your chosen email or WhatsApp provider processes the message under its own terms.
