Lay the page flat, avoid a shadow from your phone and keep diagrams in the frame. Capture each page in the same orientation.
Recognise the writing
Combine the photos with Scan to PDF, then run OCR in the language of the handout. Search the output for an uncommon word from the original. Equations, handwriting and small labels need a closer check.
Make a revision copy
Use PDF to Markdown for headings and paragraphs or extract text for a summary. For flashcards, write one question and one answer per line with a vertical bar between them.
